Global Horizon School is a full Year 1 to Year 13 school. We launch in September 2026 with Years 1–6 (iPrimary). Year 7 opens in Term 2 (January 2027), and a new year group is added every term thereafter — through iLowerSecondary (Years 7–9), IGCSE (Years 10–11), and A-Levels (Years 12–13). Families who enrol today will never need to change schools.

Global Horizon School delivers Pearson Edexcel iPrimary for Years 1–6, Pearson iLowerSecondary for Years 7–9, Pearson IGCSE for Years 10–11, and Pearson A-Levels for Years 12–13. All qualifications are internationally recognised and accepted by universities worldwide.

Yes. Global Horizon School serves families across Sri Lanka, the UK, the US, Canada, the UAE, Australia, and beyond. The LMS displays timetables in your local time zone, and all sessions are recorded and replayable within 24 hours. Our team works with every enrolled family before term begins to find the best live session arrangement for their location.

Yes — fully included, no extra charge. One weekly elective in Sinhala or Tamil is available from September 2026. Hindi, Malay, and Chinese are added from Term 2. Language electives are available across all year groups and are built in to keep children connected to their heritage wherever in the world they are living.

All Global Horizon School staff hold a current police clearance or UK DBS certificate before teaching a single class. All live sessions are recorded and securely stored. No student can access another student's data. An incident register is maintained from Day 1. Our full child safeguarding policy is published before school opens, reviewed annually, and aligned to UNICEF and CIS international best practice. The target is always zero incidents.

A laptop or tablet with a working camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection is all that is required. Microsoft Teams and the Moodle LMS run in any modern browser — no additional software purchases are needed. After registration we provide a full technical setup checklist and a pre-term tech check session for every family.

Year 1–5 is $220/month. Year 6 is $260/month. A one-time $75 registration fee secures the place. All monthly fees include live classes, LMS and parent dashboard access, one language elective, and weekly offline activity packs. There are no hidden costs. Sibling discounts and flexible payment plans are available from Term 2. All fees are payable via Stripe or PayPal.

Yes to both. Mid-term enrolments are accepted subject to availability in the relevant year group — our admissions team will provide a personalised catch-up plan and all previous session recordings. As the school grows, higher year groups will open each term. Families joining in Year 1–6 now are guaranteed continuity all the way through to Year 13 without ever changing schools.

Global Horizon School is designed from the ground up as a full Year 1 to Year 13 pathway — from iPrimary all the way through to A-Levels. Our approach is to open each year group only when its dedicated curriculum, qualified teachers, and quality systems are 100% purpose-built for that cohort — never before. Year 7 follows in Term 2 (January 2027), with a new year group added every term after that. Families enrolling today are investing in a school that grows ahead of their child at every stage.

Global Horizon School caps every class at a maximum of 15 students. This is a non-negotiable quality commitment, not a target. Global Horizon School runs Monday to Friday. Each school day includes live online sessions delivered via Microsoft Teams (all recorded within 24 hours), guided offline learning activities delivered weekly through the Moodle LMS, and mandatory daily physical activity after academic hours. Session lengths grow with the child — from 20-minute sessions in Year 1 up to 30-minute sessions in Years 5 and 6 — so the school day is always age-appropriate and never overwhelming.

Mathematics at Global Horizon School follows the Pearson Edexcel curriculum framework throughout all year groups. Students build strong number sense, problem-solving ability, and mathematical reasoning through the structured Pearson progression — from foundations in Year 1 through to algebra, ratios, and data handling in Year 6, and onwards through IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics for older students.

Global Horizon School believes academic excellence and healthy development are inseparable. Daily physical activity is mandatory for every student — whether that is sport, dance, yoga, or outdoor play — and parents submit a weekly activity log through the LMS. Alongside this, Global Citizenship is a core subject in every year group, covering kindness and community in the early years through to ethics, the environment, and leadership by Year 6. Arts and creative projects are built into the weekly offline activity packs. The goal is a confident, curious, healthy child — not just a high score.
